Effects of Water Supply Video
| Jeffrey Pettingill asks Wade Bowcutt to explain how water supply can create weed issues. Wade responds by noting that they can see a tree line in the distance where the main part of the Snake River runs. The issue with water is that when the property owners purchase the land they don't have sufficient water rights. Their domestic water well is not enough to water all of the acres of land they own. Weeds are almost the only things that can survive with very little water. Consequently, even if they try to re-vegetate with desirable plants the weeds come right back in because they like the drier ground.
