| Landowner, Rita Davis and Jeffrey Pettingill talk about the Musk Thistle problem on her property. Rita said they noticed a few plants up the hill by a water tank just two years ago and last year they really saw a lot more. Jeffrey notes that usually you see the weeds come in first near the road, but it is interesting that this did not happen here. He asks what they have done in the past to control the weed. Rita explains that they used the spray last year and "really hit it hard." The grandkids and anybody they could get, helped. Now Rita hopes the County will tell them what do do next and in the future. They believe she has about 10 to 15 acres of Musk Thistle on this 500 acre area at this time.
