Diffuse Knapweed Bloom - 360º Interactive Panorama

Jeffrey Pettingill, Bonneville County Weed Control Superintendent, and Wade Bowcutt, Jefferson County Weed Control Superintendent, talk about this site of Diffuse Knapweed. Wade explains that this site is east of Idaho Falls on the South Fork of the Snake River approximately 2 miles from Heise. What you see here is the South Fork of the Snake with all the cottonwood trees. This tributary of the Snake is being invaded by Diffuse Knapweed. To the south is farm ground, and the Diffuse Knapweed is coming over a flood dike that was put in by the Corps of Engineers to keep the South Fork of the Snake from flooding the farm ground.

Note that there are several video "hot spots" available which provide a lot more detailed information.
