On April 5, 2005, Brian Wilbur, Ada County Weed Control Director and Bryan Dallolio with Ada County Weed Control, visited an area near interstate 84 in Boise, where the soil has been disturbed to place a pipeline. Roger Batt, Idaho Weed Awareness Campaign coordinator, explains that "noxious weeds can grow just about anywhere in Idaho." He is standing in the disturbed area in a patch of Hoary Cress, commonly known as Whitetop.
