Brad Bluemer, Bonner County Weed Superintendent, explains that this Scotch Broom weed is in Hope, Idaho on the North end of Pend Oreille Lake. He notes that this is a really beautiful plant this time of the year. The flowers look like a snapdragon and people love to transplant this weed.
He notes that this plant is a lucky one that missed their treatment last year. It was one of many plants scattered along this hillside in very rough terrain. Brad comments, "This plant won't make it another year, because I know where it is now."
