Weed Control

Noxious weeds can been controlled and eradicated by several methods including Chemical (the proper use and application of herbicides – always follow the label and safety instructions), Biological (utilizing USDA/APHIS approved insects or vectors), Mechanical (mowing, grazing, shoveling and other means) and Re-vegetation (using native plants to choke out non-native species).

While chemical control may work best in certain circumstances, biological or mechanical control might work better. So how do you know what control method is better to control the noxious weeds on your lands? Just click on the name of a weed you have identified or might want to know how to control or eradicate. You will then be given the best control methods available to control that noxious weed and links to other sources for more education and information.
